中のSafariユーザーに聞いてみました。以前にも同じような問い合わせに遭遇したことがあるらしいのですが（ただしそのときは、バージョン表示だけでなくいろんな場所が赤だったようです）、そのときはCSSが以前のバージョンのままだったそうです。mt-staticディレクトリをアップグレードし忘れたとかいうことはないですか？
MT開発チームでは結構な人数がSafariを普段使いしていますので、Safariに結構まじめに対応しているはず、です。
